Volvohalsduk till lillebror

This scarf I made for my brother. I found the yarn when I was att Gotland last year. I was in love at the first sight. It was just the colour that Volvo use in and have been used for as long as I can remember.

I used 65 stiches for this pattern. Then I started with blue colour and knitted about 5 cm then I started the text. Knitt from the bottom and up the first time to get the text in right direction when the projekt is finished. After the first text I knitted about 20 cm then I knitted 2 rows with white yarn, 2 rows with blue yarn then 2 rows with white yarn again. After that 20 cm blue yarn then repet the stripes again for as many times you like. I used 5 of this stripes on this scarf. When you're satisfied with the length its about time to knitt the last text. This time you have to knitt the pattern up side down to get it rigth. If you just give it a minute you'll see in what direction you need.
